Psychotherapy is a type of therapy that involves a therapist, such as a therapist with a patient with psychological problems (; ). Psychotherapy is a type of therapy that focuses on changing the brain's perceptions of the situation and changing the emotional responses of the patient (; ). Psychotherapy involves the use of psychological techniques to improve the patient's ability to cope with stress and anxiety. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that is applied to the patient to help them develop coping mechanisms and improve their overall quality of life ().
